Event Description:
Bring your Family and Friends For a Cancer Walk with an Island Twist!
Celebrate Survivors and Support those Facing Breast Cancer with Cancer Fighters at the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure. This is a unique event, designed and implemented to promote positive awareness, education and early detection of breast cancer.
Each Cancer Fighter can invite up to three guests for the walk and luncheon festivities. We’ll provide breakfast snacks, beverages on the bus and lunch. Dress for the fun…wear island attire! Everyone will receive a pink CTCA bucket hat and lei. Walk registration fees are sponsored by Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA).
Space is limited, so please RSVP to Lisa Mathews at 847.746.4407 or lisa.mathews@ctca-hope.com by Wednesday, September 2, 2009 in order to receive your race/walk packet, including T-shirt, in the mail prior to race day. After you call and RSVP with Lisa, she will register you online for the event and you will receive registration materials, including walk T-shirts, directly to your home from Susan G. Komen.
