Carob Cream Pie

Ingredients
1 c water
1/2 c raw cashews
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
*Use a blender or food processor to make smooth and creamy.
Add and continue to blend:
1 c pitted dates, softened in water. Add both dates and the water.
3 Tbls cornstarch or thickner
3 Tbls carob powder
1 lb postum or coffee substitute
Directions
Pour mixture into saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly. Mixture will thicken. Pour thickened mixture into bake pie crust. Chill and serve.
