Hummus - Appetizer

Hummus

Serves: 6 - 8 people

Ingredients

¼ cup tahini
1 tsp cumin (or more, to taste)
½ tsp salt
2 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 Tbls lemon juice
3 Tbls hot water
1 19-ounce can garbanzo beans, drained
Chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Combine tahini, cumin, salt, and garlic in a small bowl.  While mixing, slowly pour in lemon juice, the hot water.  Puree garbanzo beans in a food processor.  Add tahini mixture and process again.  Season to taste.  Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
