Gateway for Cancer Research
Gateway for Cancer Researchsm (Gateway), a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Schaumburg, IL, is dedicated to curing cancer through funding patient-centered clinical studies that make an impact on those battling cancer. Gateway is a charity where 99 cents of every dollar donated to Gateway funds cancer research. This ratio is unparalleled in any not-for-profit setting.
A Message from the President
As a 10 year cancer survivor, a Cancer Fighter®, and a passionate advocate for patient-centered treatment and research, I want to introduce you to the charity of choice for Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), Gateway for Cancer Research.
My cancer experience transformed my life, surprisingly in positive ways. As a young woman, I was forced to redefine my life and empower myself to ensure that I received the treatment that I believed in. It has been my mission since to ensure that other patients-present and future-have options that I did not.
Last October, I joined Gateway for Cancer Research as President. My cancer experience and the experiences of so many others are helping to shape a vision for the organization going forward. This collective experience can and should shape cancer research overall.
