With CTCA
Your cancer journey will constantly evolve and your needs may change. At the beginning of your journey, you may have needed someone to nurture and inspire you. Later, you may be ready to privde that same inspiration and empowerment to others beginning the journey. It may be your turn to give back!
As a Cancer Fighter, you can find useful ways to give back to other patients who are considering CTCA or currently at a CTCA hospital. We have several opportunities for you:

Provide Insight to Prospective Patients
The Patient-to-Patient Network (PTPN) program was designed by our members to enable them to reach out to patients who have not yet visited CTCA for an evaluation and personalized treatment plan. PTPN members provide these patients insight into the unique CTCA treatment model and the overall patient experience. As a PTPN member, Cancer Fighters share their CTCA experience with several patients each month. They answer questions, ease concerns and help cancer patients determine whether the CTCA treatment model is the right fit for them.
To become a PTPN member, the Cancer Fighter must attend a training session, either at CTCA or via conference call, which covers use of the PTPN website, understanding how to speak about the CTCA model of care, and how to handle touch questions regarding selecting a personalized treatment plan.

Inspire Hope and Provide Support While Visiting CTCA
Cancer Fighters tell us that they want more opportunity to connect or reach out to new patients. They want to welcome them, share their story of hope and help them navigate throughout the hospital. New patients tell us it would be helpful to connect or speak with other patients to learn from their experiences and help them understand what to expect while treating at CTCA. Sign up for this program and act as an ‘ambassador’ to new patients by walking the halls of CTCA during your visits. With no training required and a simple sign up process upon arrival, this is an easy and convenient way to give back!
