Ambassador Program

Cancer Fighters® tell us that they want more opportunities to connect or reach out to new patients and caregivers in the hospital in order to make them feel welcome, share their story and help navigate the hospital. Many patients and caregivers also tell us it would be helpful to connect or speak with current patients and caregivers at the hospital to better understand what they found to be the unique benefits of Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA). We listened to your needs and developed the Cancer Fighters Ambassador program.

Why is it Important?
The Ambassador Program helps new patients and caregivers to connect and feel supported. Our ambassadors tell us that inspiring new patients and caregivers with their stories, while empowering them with resources and guidance also helps them in their own journey of healing.

How does it work?
Each CTCA® hospital has different on-site activities for ambassadors to connect with other patients and caregivers. Each time you are at the hospital, check in with your Cancer Fighters Team on-site to learn how you can best connect with patients that day. You can also call prior to arriving at the hospital. Whether it is helping out with an event, visiting a patient in infusion, or greeting patients and caregivers in the hospital, there is always an opportunity to inspire others!

How do I get started?
