Cancer Fighters® Care Net Program

What is Cancer Fighters® Care Net (CFCN)?
Cancer Fighters have told us that they want a way to give back to patients and caregivers and help them on their cancer journey. As a result, the Cancer Fighters® Care Net (CFCN) program was designed by our patients and caregivers in 2009 to allow them to reach out to new patients and caregivers and give them insight into the Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) experience by sharing their personal experience.

Why is it important?

As a member, you are a volunteer and share your CTCA® experiences with patients and caregivers considering CTCA for treatment. You help ease concerns, answer questions and remove some of the “fear of the unknown” for new patients and caregivers.

How it works?

Cancer Fighters interested in CFCN will participate in a one-day training – either online or in-person. Upon successful completion of the training, you will be eligible to receive call requests to contact a prospective CTCA patient or caregiver. You must commit to checking your email at least once a day for call requests, and promptly respond to all requests within 24-48 hours.

How do I get started?

Contact your hospital’s Cancer Fighter team . Depending on our needs within the program, we will see if you are eligible to participate at that time and, if not, find another opportunity for you to speak with patients and caregivers. Please contact Jennifer Mikes at 847-342-7332 for additional questions.
